 Deadly. Dangerous. Delirious. 

Even Nicole Kidman was effected 3 days ago. 

Spreads faster than Covid-19, kills quicker than ebola. 

It's Summertime Slumptidus-23. And she's here to stay. It's worse than Procrastination. Procrastination requires deadlines that people effected turn a blind eye to until it's t-minus 3 minutes till submission. This. This is different. It goes deeper, reaching into the immense depths of the human spirit and crushes it. 

There is no sense of purpose left. The summer heat settles in, turning the air into a horrible, stale hot mess. It sucks the life out of you, leaving you defenseless against the disease's forces. You begin the question it all, your phone the only outlet to the outer world, watching the people the time the places the memories slip you by. Time is slipping by. But you stand still. Defenseless. You get dragged deeper and deeper, the days blend together in a hot sticky mess until one day you wake up and it's August 29th and this great, terrific time of relaxation and sun and beach and happiness is over. 

How does one fight this? How does one pick themselves up from the boot straps and look themselves in the mirror and say, "Enough". 

You can't. You must let yourself sink into it. Let the summertime slump take its toll on your body. Only then will you be free to cross to the other side. Feel the emotions. Feel the numbness. Let it fester and consume.  

And only then will you be free. 

You must become one with the digital monsters. Make them your friend and only then will you make it across the turbulent ocean to calm shores and white sandy beaches. 

A little sad for this one friends. But the truth I feel in my heart must be spoken.
